While there may have been only two families representing the Dungog Club that didn't stop them trying their best and coming home with 28 medals.
The swimmers were pitted against members from nine clubs including Stroud, Taree, and Kempsey.
This included nine gold medals, seven silver and 12 bronze medals.
Even Bonnie who is just four years old, swam so well she earned her own 2 medals.
The club had three Under 9s swimmers for the junior four person relay: Draigh, Fergus and Maisie. The club borrowed a swimmer from Stroud who helped the team take home a bronze medal.
Isla was the only 10-13 year old so there was unfortunately no intermediate relay team to race.
So Isla was backed up by three parents from the club - Hamish, Julie and Jeanie who entered with her in the 14 years and over senior relay team to collect another team Bronze.
