David Foot smashed 72 as Karuah Red made short work of Clarence Town’s total of 111 to record a six-wicket win on Saturday.

Ben Woolard chipped in with 14 and Colin McCarthy finished on 19 not out as Karuah reached their target in just 14 overs.

In a superb individual effort Clarence Town bowler Tim Hancock picked up all four wickets to fall finishing on 4-26.

Paul Kershaw made 28 and Brad Winchester was 29 not out in Clarence Town’s total of 111.

Lucas Barry was the leading wicket taker for Karuah taking 4-20. Andrew Studdert picked up 3-20 and Brandon Watt took 2-11.

Stockmans recorded an 11-run victory after batting first and posting 164 against Bunnies at Barnes Oval on Saturday.

Kris Lawrence was the pick of the Bunnies bowlers finishing with 4-26.

Matt Reynolds top scored with 48, Jack McDonald made 28 and Scott Gardner scored 25 in Bunnies innings of 153.
