Thanks to the power of social media she has been able to co-ordinate a Dungog High School reunion for January 5.
Forty five former students who attended the school from first form in 1979 through to sixth form in 1974 have confirmed they will attend the event.
The reunion will start with a meet and greet and tour of the high school at 11am.
The tour will give people a chance to reminisce but if people don’t feel up to the tour they can meet for lunch and refreshments at the Bank Hotel.
Ms Sullivan said she was hoping to secure Boothill for the entertainment.
Special commemorative name tags with the event name and date have been made for those attending which will be a keepsake.
Glenda, whose maiden name was Cummings, said she has had a ball reconnecting with former classmates during the last 18 months.
Thanks to the sharing power of social media, a story in the Dungog Chronicle and an item in the Dungog High School newsletter, the word has gone out high and wide.
“People are coming from pretty much every state,” said Glenda.
But the search is still on to find some former classmates.
“We are still looking for 22 students and would love to make contact with them before the big day,” she said.
Anyone who knows of one of the former students from those years can contact Glenda on (03) 58561497.
