The swimmers enjoyed great weather and a well organised carnival to take home four gold , five silver and two bronze medals. 

Raff Francisci won the gold in the 50 fly, 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly.  Silver Medals were won by Robert Stanley in 200 breast, Grace Gray in the 200 breast and 100 breast and Raff Francisci in the 200 free and 200 fly.

Bronze medallions were awarded to Grace Gray in 50 breast and Robert Stanley in the 100 breast.  

Junior Swimmers excelled in achieving numerous  personal best times including the club’s newest members, Jacob, Caleb and Claire Whitter.  Jacob took a whopping 4.67sec  off his 50 free time and Claire reduced her 50 free time by 1.66 seconds and her 100 free by 4.67 second.  Caleb Whitter made big reductions of 6.7 seconds and 3.01 seconds to his 100 free and 50 back times. 

Angel Gray reduced her 50 free time and 50 breast time by 2.63 seconds and 0.29.  Additionally Angelica Francisci and Hosanna Gray swam 50 fly, 100 breast, 200 breast and achieved PBs in all these events. 

Clarence Town swimmer  Jade Smith as part of her ongoing improvements this season again achieved PBs in 50 fly, 50 free and 50 back.  Jade, who trains with the Seals but competes in swimming club at Clarence Town has improved her times significantly over the past 6 months.   Jade swam PBs in her 50 fly ( 1.45 sec), her 50 free style (1.23 sec) and her 50 backstroke (0.38).  Her steady improvement reflects her dedicated training and increasing fitness and strength under Coach Michael Abel. 

Senior Swimmer Jeremy Edstein who has been unable to train due to his  HSC exams attended and swam numerous long distance and short distance events and made his PBs.   

Coach Michael Abel who is training the squad to peak at Country Championships in February said he was pleased the squad was on target.
