It is a great time to connect with friends, family and work colleagues and check in and ask the question… R U OK?
It is a reminder that we all have a role to play in looking out for those around us and together we can help each other.
It is a simple question, though it can be hard to ask, but it can also be the one thing to make the difference for someone who could needs help.
- R U OK? Day asks us all to do four simple steps: 1. Ask 2. Listen 3. Encourage 4. Check in.
Staying connected, letting those around us know that we care and that they are important to us is something we can all do.
We all want to be connected. As a family and as a community, and we all want to know that someone is there for us when we need help – but how often to we let those in our lives know that we are there for them?
