- More than 1.1 million have either survived a diagnosis or are living with cancer.
- More than 134,000 will be diagnosed this year.
- One in two will be diagnosed by age 85.
- Today, 68 per cent of people will survive five years after a cancer diagnosis. This is an increase from 48 per cent since the 1980s.
