The concert was thanks to Mrs Phyl Danvers and her music students from Dungog High School.
“It has been a most popular concert in the Anglican Parish of Christ Church for some years now,” said Fr Colvin Ford.
“One of the students ‘created ‘ her own guitar from a garden spade.”
Upcoming events at the church include the Parish Anniversary Dinner on September and an organ recital and service on September 15 from 2-3pm.
“We’ll hear the organ in wonderful notes, being played over its range,' said Fr Colvin.
“A hymn or two, recital pieces, prayers of thanksgiving for the gift of the organ 100 years ago.
“Refreshments will follow, in the grounds if it is lovely spring weather.”
Festive Eucharist will be held on Sunday September 16 from 9am and a Market Day will be on Saturday, September 22
