Dealers from all over the Hunter and further afield will show their wares, be they  rustic, rusty, shiny, military, chintzy, wearable, readable, cuddly, functional or just interesting.

For the fourth year Jackie Bayne will host the fair with this year’s proceeds going to the Dungog and District Netball Association.

A cedar chiffonier valued at $4000 is the major raffle prize. The beautiful piece was donated by Philippa Smith.

As well as antiques and curios on display and for sale, people can get their own items appraised by professional dealers for $2 an item.

Two of the highlights of the event will be horse drawn carriage rides on offer from Hunter Valley Carriages (which is based at Gresford) for $10 a ride and the Sid Davy racing machine on display.

One of the exhibitors is Hunter Valley collector Graham McCrohon who has more than 200 different condiment jar glass designs in his collection. Kylie Richards from Morpeth Antique Centre, will exhibit West German pottery, vintage fishing floats, books and framed Norman Lindsay bookplates

The event will be held at both the Dungog Memorial RSL Club and St Mary’s Parish Hall on Saturday, June 2 from 10am until 5pm and Sunday June 3 from 10am until 3pm.

The event is sponsored by Dungog Memorial RSL Club, Hannan Build, Ray White Dungog, Insurance Advisernet, and Dungog Swimming Pool.

Entry to both venues is $6.
