The staff sold cupcakes kindly donated by Barrington Bakery and Shaw’s Williams River Bakery to raise $151.40 for the charity – and put a smile on customer’s faces.
Clown Doctors is the core program of The Humour Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that provides medical clowns to sick children in hospital, treating them with a different kind of medicine – fun and laughter.
Karen Hancock, Dungog Commonwealth Bank Branch Manager, said her team had been supporting the Clown Doctors for more than 19 years.
“Through our fundraising we hope to help Clown Doctors provide more Clown Rounds across Australia.”
