A few welcome showers has meant it’s a little muddy underfoot – but you won’t hear a word of complaint from anyone at the show.
Local school students competed in various events in the ring alongside the other traditional ring events featuring competitors from far and wide.
The CWA rooms were attracting a steady crowd for morning tea and lunch and the grandstands were full of spectators.
Tomorrow sees a pet parade, a gourmet sausage competition, the grand parade and official opening at 2.30pm, the woodchop final, barrel challenge and bullock ride
There’s also a kids disco and fireworks to finish the night.
Cost of admission: Friday, Adults $10, Pensioners $8; Saturday, Adults $15 and pensioners $10. Both days Children 6 to 15 years $2; Under 6 years free. Family tickets $30 for 2 adults and 3 children.
