The event was held on Wednesday, December 6, in conjunction with the Dowling Street Christmas Party.
“We sold 143 tickets for the event and we’re happy the money raised is going to the local hospital auxiliary who do so much to care for our community,” said Store Manager Carolyn Andrews.
“More than 15 representatives from suppliers near and far came on the night, giving lots of choice and a chance to try some brand-new products for those who came along. It was a great success and we’re planning for it to be even bigger next year.”
The extra funds will boost the auxiliary’s fundraising efforts with plans for window tinting and vertical blinds at the hospital.
