The bus will be in Dungog until Wednesday and there are still some appointments available.
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women in Australia. 1 in 8 women in NSW will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and 9 out of 10 of those women do not have a known family history of breast cancer.
BreastScreen NSW provides a high quality service for the early detection of breast cancer. Early detection improves treatment outcomes and survival.
While women 40 or over are eligible, women 50 or over are particularly encouraged to attend because breast cancer risk increases with age.
Appointments are free and only take 20 minutes.
