Mark your diaries as the popular tradition orchestrated by the Dungog Rural Fire Service will be held on the afternoon of Friday, December 22.
This year Dungog RFS have been fortunate to have both Dungog Rotary and Peter and Vicki Burn donate all the lollies for the event.
“Through their generosity the brigade can now continue this wonderful tradition once again this year, said brigade captain Heidi Thornton.
Starting around 4.30 pm, Santa will begin his run at Lara Aged Care Facility and the Dungog Hospital, giving residents and patients Christmas greetings and a bag of lollies. He will then continue to the streets of Dungog.
“Instead of following a map this year we want you to listen for Santa and his HO HO HO as he announces through the PA system which street he is in and whether he is going North to South or East to West,” said Ms Thornton.
“For all children's safety please ask them to stay on the footpaths at all times.”
