The officer attached to the Port Stephens Local Area Command has been named as a finalist in the Regional NSW Field Operations category in the Rotary Police Officer of the Year awards.
The Police Officer of the Year Awards is considered the most prestigious event in the NSW Police Force calendar year.
The finalists have been identified in 11 separate categories according to their roles and expertise
The category winners and overall Police Officer of the Year will be announced at a special dinner being held at Hyatt Regency, Sydney on Friday, 10 November in Sydney.
The evening will allow the Force’s best to shine and be acknowledged for their professional excellence and dedication.
Senior Constable Parker was recognised last year by Fire and Rescue NSW Commissioner Greg Mullins for his bravery during the April 2015 storms.
