HOUSE FIRE AT CLARENCE TOWN
Dungog Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a house fire at Clarence Town during the early hours of Friday, December 30.
The Dungog crew assisted Clarence Town Rural Fire Brigade to bring the blaze under control.
A number of LPG bottles were present within the fire and safely removed by firefighters in breathing apparatus.
All occupants and animals were accounted for.
Police and NSW Rural Fire Service investigators are assisting to determine the cause.
ELDERLY WOMAN SUFFERS FALL
Earlier last week, Dungog Fire and Rescue was called upon to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics with an elderly woman who had a fall inside her own home causing severe pain and possible multiple fractures.
Firefighters assisted paramedics before the patient was loaded into the ambulance and transported to hospital.
