Geoff Crowhurst – Director and 1st Class Welder with over 30 year’s industry experience, commenced business as a sole trader under the name of JABFAB in Kakadu National Park. GP&JL Crowhurst Pty Ltd was formed 11th July, 2007, trading as Crowhurst Engineering from May 2008 at 4 Palmer Street, Katherine.

With the expanding business the New Manufacturing Workshop at 15 Emungalan Road, Katherine, Northern Territory was operational on 12th August, 2013.

Crowhurst Engineering is proud to be involved in Katherine Mining Services Association. Crowhurst Engineering is keen to form alliances with Aboriginal Corporation/s to develop their capability to take on the RAAF Tindal project, Mine Projects and Department of Construction and Infrastructure.

A current increased workflow has enabled the company to put on apprentices in January, 2015 after the completion of the Automotive and Engineering Apprenticeship Employment Program. We are proud to be “growing our own”.

We look forward to increasing our workflow to enable the company to put on apprentices into the future and further grow the community’s capability, investing in our youth for future economic development.

Crowhurst Engineering is an active member of the community, providing time and input through involvement in: Katherine Regional Economic Development Committee Youthworx Katherine Mining Services Association (Directors – Executive Committee Members)

And various sporting events and fundraisers.
