The library played host to several events which delighted both children and their parents.
Last Wednesday, September 27, Doug the Reading Bug had his traditional holiday pyjama party.
The Manager of the Dungog Community Centre Sarah U’Brien is passionate about early literacy and helped bring Doug to life with the assistance from her daughter Georgina.
Families enjoyed the monster stories, craft and hot chocolate along with engaging with Doug’s love of reading.
On Friday, September 29, Joel from JD’s World of Magic had the children and their parents laughing during an entertaining show which included a workshop.
The children got to try out some of the clever tricks they had just seen with spinning plates on a stick and balancing a feather duster along with other fun activities.
