The inaugural Dungog Garden Ramble and the Uniting Churchs annual Festival of Flowers were a match made in heaven.
This years message for the Festival of Flowers was based on the biblical telling of the feeding of the 5,000 from Matthews Gospel, and how Gods provision is always available to the world.
That feeding took on a Teddy Bears Picnic theme in light of the churchs strong childrens ministry, which has both a Sunday School and the Wednesday Play Group.
The children bounced their way through the day with lots of activities including the jumping castle and face painting.
They then lunched on Teddy Bear picnic packs and sausage sandwiches.
The adults were amply fed with Devonshire Teas and grown-up Teddy picnic packs to suit all tastes, for lunch.
Ladies from Morpeth Uniting Church attended, bringing their own teddies.
