Legacy Week began in 1942 to raise awareness and funds for the families of incapacitated and deceased Veterans.

Legacy assists with essential services such as counselling, special housing, medical, advocacy and social support.
The Dungog branch of Hunter Legacy is in contact with around 60 widows and one dependent.
