Gresford Showground will be pumping this Friday and Saturday as cowboys and girls converge for the annual Gresford Rodeo and Campdraft.

A popular local event, you can be assured of a good time in and out of the ring.
Competition kicks off 6.30am on Friday with the maiden and novice drafts and junior rodeo.
Competitors in the junior rodeo have gained point scores from a number of other local rodeos including Gloucester, Dungog and Stroud, to see who is the best junior in the region.
Saturday action kicks off at 10am and runs through to 9pm.
Feature events include the Richardson Brothers Transport Open Bull Ride, the Poley Buck Jump and the Lawrence Transport Open Campdraft.
Live music launches from 9pm on Saturday giving visitors a chance to relax or take the rodeo moves they’ve witnessed in the ring during the day to a new level on the dance floor.
A licensed bar (no BYO), barbecue and kiosk will keep the masses happy over the two days and there will be carnival rides and children’s entertainment.
Rainbows End Rural will be have a pop-up onsite feed store open Friday and Saturday. Eastern Zone presentations will be held at the break of the rodeo
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Westpac rescue helicopter service and also local charities.
Camping is available at the showground.
Cost for Saturday is Adults $15, Pensioners and Children $6 and Families $35.
