However, best afield honours went to Sam Dunn who was outstanding in his move back to the front-row after playing in the back-row beside his brother George in the centres.
The Cobras winning margin could have been even bigger, apart from an undisciplined 15 minutes midway through the first half.
Clarence Town coach Peter Maytom said his team allowed Swansea back into the game with two penalties in the play the ball when the Cobras had possession.
“They were silly penalties, pushing an opponent in the play the ball and Swansea to their credit were able to score a couple of tries after we had dominated leading 16-0,” he said.
“We were able to get things back on track and led 28-16 at half-time.”
The Cobras dominated the second half courtesy of a huge platform laid by Sam Dunn and front-row partner Ben Bradley.
Mitch Maytom moved to five-eight, with James Foot unavailable, and his combination with Ben Trappel gave their backs plenty of good ball to weave their magic.
Fullback Kurt Blowes continued his great season to win the best back award and Joe Gorton had another fine game.
Coach Maytom said the win was particularly important with top-three rival Karuah losing to Hexham on Saturday.
The results leave the fourth-placed Cobras one-point behind Karuah, with the two teams to play each other twice before the end of the season, including this Sunday at Clarence Town.
The two teams then meet in a catch-up game at Karuah on August 5.
“Our goal is to finish in the top three and give ourselves a double chance in the finals,” Maytom said.
“Karuah and Cardiff are above us on the ladder, so we need to get wins against them in the run home to the semi-finals.”
