As part of the new Business Connect program the Bus delivers highly subsidised face-to-face business advice to business owners in regional areas across NSW.
Jelinda Milgate from the Bus said she was pleased to see so many small businesses in the area take advantage of the free service during its stop in Dowling Street.
“The initial hour’s free consultation can cover a range of issues from tips for using social media to information about insurances,” she said.
“Many business people like to bounce their ideas of someone and we have the resources to refer them to get more information. The business owners here are very proactive in their take up of the service and there were lots of good ideas coming through.
“There’s promising times head for Dungog.”
Ms Millgate said the bus was expected to visit Dungog every month and will have a representative at the Dungog Business Expo on March 4.
