Newcastle comedian Nathan Ranclaud will perform at the theatre on Sunday, March 19 at 3pm as his alter ego, “Uncle Nath”.
Uncle Nath is described as a grumpy dad who endures constant defeat in the act Dad’s Have Feelings Too.
Uncle Nath prides himself on delivering sharp adult stand up without the profanities, which means the show can be enjoyed by the whole family.
“It’s quite rare in Australian stand up not to swear,” he said.
“When I first started doing stand up I was advised to keep it clean and clever.
“So I’ve been able to perform in all kinds of places, including churches.”
Andrew Leiboff from the Friends of James Theatre said it was great to be welcoming a new act to Dungog.
“We consider it part of our role to bring as wide a range of entertainment to the town as possible, beyond films,” he said.
