The group of talented ladies makes craft items to sell to raise funds for the hospital.
Pam Lawrence from the group said the members meet every Tuesday at the hospital to make the craft items and enjoy a $5 lunch.
There are bibs and bears, scarves, covered coat hangers, slippers and much more all lovingly hand-made and on display at the hospital for sale.
‘The hospital gives us a wish list and we pick out what we want to buy to donate,” said Mrs Lawrence.
“We all get a lot of satisfaction from doing something for the hospital. Personally the hospital was so good to my husband and my parents when they were here, it’s good to make sure it keeps going.”
The group will enjoy a break before taking up their knitting needles and crochet hooks again on Tuesday, February 7, 2017
