The funds came from a birthday party fundraiser Abby held for herself where instead of gifts to her, the guests gave donations to the hospital.

The Real Red Carpet Cocktail Ball at the Clarence Town School of Arts Hall on Saturday,  November 12 was such a success it raised $3743.33.

Now living in Sydney, working and studying film and motivational speaking, Abby grew up in Clarence Town after moving to the town as a child with parents Tanya Watts and Robert Wilson

“I’m so glad I could bring a fun filled time to Clarence Town, with transport, so everyone could enjoy themselves,” said Abby.

“All the local business and community went above and beyond to support me and the Sydney Children Hospital Foundation.

“I plan on making this an annual event for a different charity each year, so everyone can have a wonderful night out full of laughter, music, friends and fun times.”
