Clarence Town made 6/99 from their 24 overs and dismissed Kurri Kurri for 54 in the 20th over.
The Clarence Town boys all contributed to the win which sees the school make it’s second Reg Kelly Shield final in a row.
The young team has progressed a lot since being dismissed for just 19 in last year’s final against Telarah Public School.
The team meets Hunter Valley Grammar School in Friday’s grand final at Robins Oval in Maitland.
In Monday’s semi-final at Weston, Keeghan Stericker and Taiij Burgess led the way retiring on 24 and 27 respectively.
Opener Jack Bayton made nine and skipper Declan McIntosh shared an entertaining partnership with Burgess before being dismissed for 12.
The lower-order provided valuable support as Burgess continued his innings.
Pint-sized Aiden Gibson had the best figures for Kurri Kurri’s bowlers claiming 2-6
Burgess backed up with the ball claiming 2-16 from his three overs.
Cale Conserdyne was the star with the ball taking 3-4 and was on a hat-trick with final ball of his second over.
He bowled a dot ball and then claimed a wicket with the first ball of his third over.
McIntosh was miserly taking one wicket and conceding just two runs from three overs.
Hunter Valley defeated neighbours Ashtonfield Public School in the other semi-final.
