Clarence Town meets group one winner Kurri Kurri Public School on Friday for a place in the final.
The team goes into the semi-final in good form after defeating Grahamstown Public School on Monday.
It’s been a big week with victories on consecutive days last week against Karuah Public School and Gresford Public School.
If Clarence Town can defeat Kurri Kurri they will face the winner of the other semi-final between group three winner Hunter Valley Grammar School and group two winner Ashtonfield Public School.
In their win against Karuah, all the batsmen made contributions with stand-out performances from Declan McIntosh and Taiij Burgess who both retired on 24 runs as the team posted 140.
The bowling effort was sensational as they bundled out their opponents for 22.
All the bowlers performed strongly with Harry Boyton being very unlucky not to pick up his first ever hat-trick.
Jack Boyton got Clarence Town off to a flying start against Gresford on Friday.
Brody Boland and Ronin Elloy enjoyed a solid partnership and guided their team to a respectable 120 from their allotted overs.
The bowlers’ radars were off target and they made a slow start, unfortunately giving away a lot of extras in the early overs.
Fortunately, a very impressive spell of bowling by Harrison Jones which included three wickets in an over helped Clarence Town to restrict Gresford to 80.
