This year’s show promises to be one of the best. The Dungog Show committee, under the chairmanship of Dugald Alison, has enthusiastically put together a whole new show.
Chief among these attractions will be The Rooftop Express, fresh from the Brisbane Royal Show where it got rave reviews.
The Rooftop Express is billed as a wild west show.
It features some amazing horsemanship, some amazing animal training skills, and the funniest Aussie bush humour you will find anywhere.
If you’ve never seen Brahman bulls climb stairs, now is your opportunity.
Friday is camp draft day, with a different program than previous years.
You can't find a better day’s entertainment than a country show, and Dungog Show is as good as they get.

This year it is happening on Remembrance Day, November 11.
At 11am, it will be the anniversary of when the guns officially fell silent at the end of World War One.
There will be an event involving all the camp drafters to mark this special occasion.
It is intended to have the riders form up in a column, in ranks of four, as they did in the days of the famous Australian Light Horse.
The public is welcome to attend this event, which is sure to be a moving ceremony.
There will be the demolition derbies and a new chainsaw event.
There is the animal nursery in the old dairy pavilion, which is a wonderful attraction for both young and old.
A special highlight will be Mr MacDougal’s racing piglets.
The course this year is much longer, and it even involves racing around trees.
The night will end with a spectacular fireworks show.
Dungog Show committee member Tom Boorer said he encouraged everyone to mark the event in their calendar.
“You cant find a better day’s entertainment than a country show, and Dungog Show is as good as they get,” he said.
“We would love to see you all there.”
Dungog Show is one of the oldest shows in NSW.
It began 122 years ago, and aside from a few years when wartime, drought or floods intervened, it has happened ever since.
