The A-grade side went down to Port Stephens Pythons at Bennett Park.
Dungog batted first but could only muster 68 against the top team.
Brady Rumbel (11) David Seers (10) and Martin Osmond (12) were the only Dungog players to make double figures.
For Port Stephens, Brendon Sinclair 3-13, Adam Butler 2-7 , L Eveleigh 2-16 and Allan Baldwin 2-18 did the damage with the ball.
In reply Harry Boorer took the only two wickets to fall before Port Stephens claimed victory.
Also in A-grade, Paterson made it two wins from two starts with a 55-run win against Kurri Kurri at Paterson Sports Ground.
Kurt Humphreys continued his great start to the season with 47, supported by Matthew McLetchie (35) and Brad Bidner (32) as Paterson made 183.
Bidner backed up with the ball taking 3-26, with Dean Bridges snaring 3-36 as Paterson dismissed Kurri for 128.
In C-grade Belmore Hotel defeated Paterson by 71 runs after posting 6/174. Shaun Presland top scored for Paterson with 56.
Dungog C-grade had a win against Lochinvar at Lochinvar.
Lochinvar won the toss and sent Dungog in to bat.
This looked good for Lochinvar having Dungog 3-13 after six overs.
Lochinvar’s opening bowler Brian Lawrence took all three wickets.
Adam Tymkiw came to the crease, put his head down and batted through the 35 overs to be 64 not out.
Tymkiw was well supported by Andy Muddle (27) and Tom Hojer (18).
Dungog finished their allotted overs on 8/155.
Dungog started well in the field with opener Andy Muddle taking two wickets in his first two overs.
At the other end young swing bowler Ben Osmond knocked the stumps over twice to finish with 2-11 from six overs.
The fielding was excellent with Jai Darr leading the way.
Man of the match Adam Tymkiw had a golden day when he finished with 3-27 from six overs including two brilliant caught and bowled wickets.
Tom Hojer finished the tail off with 2-25 from six overs.
Lochinvar’s opener Jai Baker (66) batted most of their innings before Lochinvar were all out for 122.
This Saturday Dungog A-grade take on Windsor Castle and C-grade take on Fred Harvey. Paterson will play Raworth in A-grade and Lochinvar in C-grade.
