A wide range of stalls will line the main street from 8am on October 1 against a backdrop of red and yellow decorations throughout the town.

This year the event will raise money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter – a vital charity that the town considers a lifeline.

Karen Hutchinson, president of the Stroud Brick Throwing Committee which runs the event, said families would enjoy the range of activities on offer.

Wauchope Yesteryear Truck and Machinery Club will bring about 30 vintage trucks to town at 9am as part of its Pacin’ the Pacific campaign.

Members are making their way along the Pacific Highway and will drive through the town after assembling at Quambi House.

Part of Memorial Avenue will be closed for the procession so the crowds can gather to admire the machines. 

Visitors looking for a prize should head to the chocolate wheel, which is the main money maker for the helicopter.

“We have many prizes and we keep spinning the wheel until all the prizes have gone,” Ms Hutchinson said.

Children will have the chance to hunt for Westpac Rescue Helicopter money boxes which will be strategically positioned around town.

There will also be helicopter collection tins around to raise more money.

Stroud Historical Society will open the courthouse and machinery shed and has lots of interesting things to see.
