St Joseph’s Primary School in Dungog students came to school with their sleeping bags and pyjamas in tow to spend the night at school and raise money for the Vinnies Sleepout.
Principal Michael Malhoney said the event was also an opportunity for students to find sponsors and to raise their awareness about the hardship many youth face across the country.
The school would like to thank the people who generously donated soup and Bakers Delight in Pender Place who donated bakery goods for the event.
