The 51-year-old is best known as a member of Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs but he also placed with the Bee Gees, staying on with the group until 1969.
Vince has called Dungog his second home for nearly seven years, coming to a rural property in the town to work in his albums.
His last stint here saw him arrive just before the April super storm.
He played in a Mother’s Day fundraiser which raised $7000 for the flood relief appeal.
He also did a fundraiser for Lara Aged Care a few years earlier, raising in excess of $8000.
“Dungog is the fondest in my heart,” he said.
“I have just been working on and finishing off my new album and then I am going to England.
“I lived there for 15 years during the time of the Bee Gees and I just want to go back and see the place again and do a few gigs.
“The album will be released at the end of August but I am leaving Dungog on the 8th, but not before I do my final gig at the Royal Hotel.
“I’ve still got the energy and feel I’m playing better than ever.”
Vince will play from 2pm this Saturday, August 8.
