The 11-year-old St Joseph’s Primary School student made the Polding team which is half of the Catholic Schools in NSW.
She competed in the Diocesan team at Lismore earlier in the month and played against competitors from Armidale, Upper Hunter and some Sydney dioceses.
The dioceses from the other part of the state are members of the McKillop team and were competing down in Canberra.
“I played 24 games and only lost three,” Hannah said.
“Jeff Eaton from the East Maitland tennis centre is my coach and I play in a comp down there on Tuesday afternoon and then have coaching on Wednesday.
“I am looking forward to the state titles in Sydney in April from which a state team will be selected.”
At the April competition there will be players from Catholic, state and independent schools and the state team selected will compete in a national competition.
