Last Wednesday police from Dungog and Clarence Town attended a house in Dungog after receiving information the occupant was growing cannabis at their home.
Police attended and spoke with the occupant where a cannabis plant was growing in the garden of the premises.
The cannabis plant was seized by police with the occupant issued with a court attendance notice and will appeared at Dungog Local Court on March 11 charged with cultivate prohibited plant.
Burnout
Last Tuesday evening a 17-year-old male was observed by off- duty police performing a burnout on the grass near Dungog skate park.
Shortly afterwards the same driver has left the skate park performing a burnout on Mackay Street toward Dowling Street.
Dungog police attended the driver's residence the following morning and he was spoken to about the manner of driving.
He was issued with a traffic infringement notice for $623 and a loss of three demerit points.
Intimidation
On Sunday Dungog police interviewed a 53-year-old male over an allegation of intimidation upon a 19-year-old female in Dungog on Wednesday last week.
It is alleged the male approached the female in the street and made a number of threats to her.
The man has been charged and will appear at Dungog Local Court on March 11.
Costly drive
On Sunday police from Dungog and Karuah were patrolling bushland near Wallaroo State Forest when they observed a Toyota Hilux driving at speed on a bush track in an attempt to avoid patrolling police.
Police attempted to follow the vehicle where shortly after it was located severely bogged in a large mud hole.
The driver was spoken to where it was established he was 16-years-old and the holder of a learner's driver Licence.
He was not accompanied by an authorised person.
He was issued with traffic infringement notices totalling $1038.
