Under-16s
Batting first Dungog faced some very tough bowling from a well drilled Tamworth unit.
The opening batters worked their way through the new ball.
Dungog seemed to be cruising at 2 for 80 with Harry Boorer (26) and Tommy Hudson (19) batting well.
However quick wickets saw Dungog ultimately out for a total of 92.
Not to be outdone Dungog set about defending the total. Brant Jobe and J Bills took three wickets a piece to have Tamworth on the rails.
Tamworth however snuck out of trouble with eight wickets down before the score was passed.
A pleasing result by all three age groups against some quality bowlers and batters in the Tamworth ranks.
Similar form will see all age groups continue to succeed in future representative games.
