The three teams were 11-years-old Little Devils, 12-years-old Sonic Youth and intermediate 3 Dynamites.
All three teams finished minor premiers at the end of their rounds securing a position in the semi-finals where they all breezed their way straight to their respective grand finals after easy wins by each team.
The teams all had a week off and then played on Saturday in grand final.
Little Devils did not have best start to game and by half time were down by three goals.
Lucky the girls improved over the second half of game to win and be crowned grand final winners 2014.
For the players in this team it was their first season playing as a team and in this type of competition. Great work and result all round.
Sonic Youth has a very nail biting game from start to finish.
The entire game was close with Sonic Youth up by one goal at full time but a penalty in goal circle against Sonic Youth could have resulted in extra time.
Lucky the opposing team missed the goal and Sonic Youth claimed title of grand final winners 2014.
When the Dynamites game commenced the team quickly show their determination and skill on court to take a lead within the first quarter.
The team dominated the entire game never giving the opposing team a change to come close winning.
Dynamites breezed through to win and be crowned grand final winners 2014.
Congratulations to all players and coaching staff of these teams.
It was a great effort for our small association. Also thank you to parents and supporters who travelled down to cheer and support each team.
Our association would also like to congratulate Emma Rumbel who received her National B umpiring badge earlier this season.
Emma participated in the Hunter Academy program for umpires where she received coaching and guidance in obtaining the next level of badge.
Emma umpired the highest division in Newcastle Netball association where a panels of badged umpires accessed her skill level to obtain this badge.
