In the soccer all-age men's competition on Friday night fourth placed Mayfield United was due to play second placed Morisset at Fieldsend Oval, but due to the continuous rain throug out the week the game was deemed a wash out.

This ruined any chance of Mayfield United of advancing further in this year’s finals play offs as Morisset will advance in the competition because of their higher ranking on the ladder.
This Friday night at will see Dungog take on Morisset at Beryl Humble Oval, Tenambit .
This is deservedly so as these two teams have been the two most consistent teams throughout the competition, and with Morisset the only team to defeat the Dungog Boomerangs during the regular season and on Dungog's home turf, the grand final should be a another great game of soccer between these two sides with a 8pm kick off.
In the all-age women's competition Valentine and Adamstown travelled to Howe Park Singleton on Sunday to play their grand final qualifying match with the winner to play Dungog in the grand final on Sunday.
In what was a close tight game Valentine were victorious defeating Adamstown 1-0.
Valentine has now earned the right to play the Dungog ladies in the grand final on Sunday morning at Turner Park Cessnock.
The game will kick off at 9am and like their male counterparts the Dungog ladies will be playing the only team to have defeated them this season, which sets the scene for another great game between these two classy sides.
