The inaugural event was held on The Common in 2012 and this year was won by Andrew Lloyd who came second in the world championships held recently.
Allen Shrimpton who was in involved in organising the event held on April 12 and13 said the weather was great and although there was a bit of rain on the Saturday.
“There was lots of local volunteer help for the two-day event,” he said.
“Saturday was very relaxed with an outdoor cinema and fun stuff for the children.
“Sunday was a seven-hour endure around the 12.8 kilometre course.
“Local entrants Julie and John Styles and Jane Baker won the triple team mixed event.
“There were a few local teams and few also did the course solo.”
