These were the new kindergarten children at Dungog Public School.
The Dungog Chronicle visited the school on Monday morning to catch up with these youngsters and take two group photos.
The children took great delight in telling the Chronicle what they had been doing at school, what they had been learning and what they were going to have for fruit break after the photo shoot.
More photos will be published of other schools in the Dungog Shire and Stroud area over the next week.
