Swimming carnival success

Records were broken at Dungog Public School’s annual swimming carnival held recently.

Ben Peper set new records in the 33m junior butterfly and the 66m junior backstroke.

Also setting a new record was Taylor Long in the 66m junior breaststroke event.

Junior boy was Ben Peper and junior girl was Taylor Long.

Nelson Eyb was the 11-year-old boy champion and Alanna Peacock was named champion girl in the same age group.

Jordan Long was 12-year boy champion and Jamie-Lee Russell was 12-year girl champion.

A 17-member strong group will represent the school at the zone swimming carnival at Raymond Terrace on Friday.

Swimmers include Ben Peper, Jordan Long, Wyll Darr, Michael Peacock, Nelson Eyb, Jacob Long, Brady Snedden , Jai Darr, Ella Kennedy, Taylor Long, Alanna Peacock, Grace Buckley, Laura Inwood, Jamie Wilson, Olivia Hannan, Bree Studdert and Olivia Youngberry.
