Two Newcastle Knights players visited Dungog Public School last Thursday.

Funded by the National Rugby League and each NRL club, ARL Development’s revolutionary approach to primary school development has proven both a valuable support to teachers and an important stepping stone for children embracing a healthier lifestyles.

The students watched a DVD, asked the players questions and received posters of the Knights’ team.

The Knights also spoke about junior league in Dungog with a number of the students indicating they played for the Warriors.

Registrations are still being accepted for Dungog Schoolboys Rugby League for under 6 to 18-years age groups.

Training is held at Bennett Park on Tuesday afternoons. For more information phone Barry Allen on 4995 6031.
