Enduro racing returns to Dungog

26 Aug, 2009 05:00 AM
After months of hard work preparing trails, the Dungog Motorcycle Club, in conjunction with Forests NSW and Motorcycling NSW, is delighted to present the ‘Dungog Two Day Enduro’ race which will take place this weekend.

The Dungog Two Day Enduro will be the final round in the NSW Enduro Series and promises to host an impressive field of club, State and National level riders.

The event consists of a series of timed tests, with liaisons in between.

Setting off from the Dungog showground, riders will make their way to the first two tests on Fosterton Loop, before heading via Chichester and Trevor Tops State Forests to Glen Charlton’s (of Barrington Trail Bike Adventures fame) property on Wangat Trig Road.

His ‘test’ offers great viewing from Chichester Dam Road.

The highlight of the event will be Saturday afternoon, when the riders return to Dungog showground for a test to be held on a course marked out on the showground itself.

Racing action resumes the following morning.

All are welcome to attend the showground to enjoy the action and admission is free.
