Social bowls on Saturday at Dungog Bowling Club saw 28 players with Steven Neilson and Craig Walters victors. Two games of 13 ends were played.
This Saturday will see the same social game played, names in by 12.30pm with games to start at approximately 1.15pm.
Sunday saw the semis of the shire singles at Gresford.
All up the players did well to avoid the cold and rain. As each knockout round wittled down, we finally got the grand final players.
The game will be played on Sunday between G Smith (Gresford) v Alan Golledge (Dungog) with Dave Turner as marker.
The shire pairs will start at 9.15am with 12 sides playing. 1pm will see 10 sides play as well as the final of the singles.
All shire games are played between Clarence Town, Dungog and Gresford and is hosted by Gresford this year.
