Good roll-up for bowls

Last week at Dungog Bowling Club’s Tuesday Clique there were 30 bowlers.

Winners were Tony Higgins, Bob Curtin and P Byron.

Runners-up were Warren Eyb, Graham McCarthy and Bill Walker.

Geoff Olsen was the dill of the week and the treasure chest went to Dennis Wilkinson.

Winners of the losers draw were Brian Macklin, Brian Williams and John Copus.

Winners of the Australia Day bowls were Ian Eyb, Margaret Longbottom and Jeff Beard.

Second place went to Col Webb, John Flanagan and Michael O’Neill and third place to Robyn Bryant, Wayne Perrin and Ken Russell.

At Friday night bowls the winners were Dennis Wilkinson, Bob Campbell and Jon Martin.

On Saturday night the winners were Brian Thorsby, Ian Greig and Ken Russell. Runners-up were Dennis Wilkinson and Tony Higgins and lucky draw winners were Margaret Longbottom, Wayne Perrin, Robyn Martin and Kevin Maley.

On Saturday there will be a pennant trial against Gresford with a barbecue afterwards.

Play will be from 1pm and dress is mufti. All pennant players are asked to indicate their availability on the list at the club.

Any non-pennant players who would like a game are welcome. Please put your name on the list by 11am.

This Friday evening there will be open mufti pairs with prizes to be won. Names in by 5pm for a 5.15pm start.

On Saturday evening there will be open mufti pairs with prizes to be won. Names in by 6pm for a 6.15pm start.
