For all of you avid followers of the Dungog ladies golf it will come as no surprise that the prize giving last Wednesday was dominated by the dynamic Dowling duo.
Between them Dancing Queen and Daughter Dowling clenched most of the prizes for the 2009 golf year.
Other winners were June Watt, Judy Olsen and Pam Shelton.
Club champion was Pam Shelton, with B and C-grade winners the mother-daughter duo of Carol and Sara Dowling.
Judy Olsen was club champion runner-up and Lorna Johnson was second in C-grade.
Associate Cup winner was Carol Dowling with Judy Olsen runner-up.
Sara and Carol won the Thompson Cup on countback from Judy Olsen and Pam Shelton.
Pam also won the best associate gross with 89 and Sara took out the best associate nett with 60.
The scratch and nett ect was won by June Watt and the veterans’ winner was Judy Olsen.
Cobbler was won by Sara Dowling and Judy Olsen and the mother-daughter combination took out the LGU medal with Carol winning division 1 and Sara division 11.
Carol won the district medal and Sara won the Medal of Medals.
