The final round of golf pennants was played on Sunday with the Dungog teams having their best results of the season.

Seniors played Scone at Muswellbrook and finished all square.

Barry Rumbel and Garry Wynne all square, Ted Russell and Kevin Lewis won one up and Phil Flannery and John Copus lost 5/3.

B-grade played Singleton at Cessnock and won 2-1.

Corey Edwards and Stuart Lowrey won 4-3, Paul Robards and Cayle Middleton won one up and Elliott Mate and Tim Houshma lost 4-3.

C-grade played Singleton at Singleton losing 2-1. Len Argent and Paul Dickson lost 4-3, Andrew Huckstadt and Wayne Pritchard lost 2-1 and Jason Baillie and Dale Reid won 2-1.

I want to thank all members who have given up their Sundays to represent our club on the pennant circuit. David Berry.

In the Wednesday chook run at Dungog Golf Club winners were P Hudson 31 nett, Judy Olsen 32 and J Campbell 34 c/b.

In the President v Captain’s 2BBB stableford on Saturday the winners were R Hughes and D McDonnell 46 points, K Lewis and J Buckley 45, C Middleton and S Lowrey 43 and E Mate and S Lowrey 42.

Individual over the field C Middleton 38 points.

NTP ladies Pam Shelton on the 4th, men B Pederson on the 2nd and 11th.

Captain’s team were the winners.

Well done Rowie, better luck next time David.

It was a beautiful morning for the chook run on Sunday, pity there weren’t more players. Where were you all?

Winner was Trent Williams 29 nett.

Today is the last daylight saving chook run, Saturday is a stroke medal and Sunday usual chook run.

A single stableford will be held on Easter Saturday.

Nominations are being called for the board. So think about it gentlemen, the more the merrier.
