The ladies were finally able to complete the final round of the club championships last Wednesday.
It has been a tumultuous journey with the ladies having to battle harsh conditions of wind, ice, snow, fire, floods and famine.
It has been a tournament filled with triumph and tragedy.
Hopes have been shattered and dreams fulfilled.
The 2009 Club Champion is Pam Shelton with 308.
First division runner up was Judy Olsen with 316.
Second division winner was Dancing Queen Dowling with 319.
Third division winner was Sara Dowling with 317, runner up was Lorna Johnson with 388.
Sara Dowling was the best nett performer over the three hundred weeks (well, it feels like it) of the championship, with 236.
Winner on the day were Pam Shelton, 99 (1st div), DQ Dowling, 101 (2nd div) and Sara Dowling, 118 (3rd div). Nearest the Pin went to DQ Dowling.
A stableford will be played today and next week we will resume normal programming.
