Camp drafting was one of the features of the weekend’s annual Dungog Show.
Ringmaster and competitor Jay Dillon said there were 340 runs on the Friday.
“The ground was great and there weren’t any accidents,” Ms Dillon said.
“The camp draft couldn’t be run without the sponsors, cattle donors and truck drivers who supply and organise the cattle.
“Then we have the announcers, judges, gatekeepers, timers, scorers and the back yard workers.
“These, along with the volunteers who help prepare the ground, there are the volunteers in the post entries box and secretary’s office over the two days and Brett Thomson who coordinated the whole event.
“If it wasn’t for these people the camp draft just wouldn’t happen.”
