Snap-happy students

18 Aug, 2010 05:00 AM
The students of Dungog Public School will snap-happy for the next week as they record happy family times in the lead-up to Father’s Day.

Each family at the school was given a camera with the students to take photos of the father-figure in their lives or happy family times.

Student Will Francis said it didn’t have to be the children’s father, but could be an uncle, grandfather or family friend.

“The photos are meant to be a male figure in our lives who we enjoy having fun with,” Will said.

“But photos of families having fun is okay too.

“I think it will be fun and all my friends are trying think of photos that will be a bit different to everyone elses.”

When the photos are developed each family at the school will do up a poster containing the photos which will be on display at school before being taken home for Father’s Day.

The school is hosting a Father’s Day breakfast before school on Friday, September 3.
