Shoppers will be rewarded for doing their Christmas shopping in Dungog with a chance to win a host of great prizes in each of the three weeks leading up to December 25.

The Dungog Chronicle’s Sharon Snipe has organised the promotion and says shoppers will definitely be the winners this Christmas.

“Support from Dungog businesses for the promotion has been excellent with many seeing the benefits of encouraging everyone to spend their Christmas dollars locally,” she said.

Ms Snipe said every time a shopper spends $20 at participating businesses they have the opportunity to go into the draw to win prizes.

“Coupons will be given out to the majority of businesses (limit of 10 coupons per purchase) while shoppers at Lovey’s IGA will put their details on the back of their dockets.

“Participating businesses have donated loads of great prizes including gift vouchers from $10-$30 in value,” she said.

Completed coupons can be left before 12 noon each Friday in specially marked entry boxes at the participating business, or at the Dungog Chronicle office in Dowling Street.

Winners will be drawn each Friday afternoon and notified by telephone. Prizes can be collected from the Dungog Chronicle office.

All winners will be published in the Dungog Chronicle on the following Wednesday.

The promotion starts next Monday, November 23.
